I’m Zoe, a senior at Virginia Tech, majoring in psychology with a minor in human-computer interaction.

Coming from a psychology background at university, I am often asked, “Why not graphic design or any fine arts degree?”

Well, I have an answer: My background in psychology allows me to effortlessly put the user first in all of my design decisions. When designing, I aim to create seamless user interfaces and experiences that are intuitive, usable, and visually stunning.

Striving to understand users and identifying the correct problem to solve before considering the aesthetics of a product is core is my design philosophy.
